It is a fusion of two Sanskrit words: "namah" meaning "bow" or "obeisance," and "te" meaning "to you." The act of Namaste goes beyond the physical and acknowledges the spiritual oneness that connects all beings. By bringing the palms together at the heart center, the individual is symbolizing the meeting of their own soul with the soul of the other person. This gesture signifies the recognition of the divine spark within oneself and others, reminding us of the fundamental unity that underlies the diversity of life.

Om Symbol: The Om symbol, often written as "ॐ" in Devanagari script, is arguably one of the most profound and recognizable symbols in Hindu spirituality. It represents the primordial sound from which the universe emanated. In Hindu philosophy, the entire cosmos is believed to have originated from the vibration of this sacred syllable, often referred to as "Pranava."

The Om symbol consists of three distinct sounds: A, U, and M. These sounds correspond to the three stages of cosmic creation, preservation, and dissolution. The entire process of existence is encapsulated within the Om sound, making it a representation of the cyclic nature of the universe.

Connection between Namaste and the Om Symbol: The connection between Namaste and the Om symbol lies in their shared emphasis on unity and interconnectedness. Just as the Om sound is said to reverberate throughout the universe, connecting all existence, the Namaste gesture acknowledges this interconnectedness on a personal level.

When one offers a Namaste, they are recognizing the divine presence within both themselves and the other person. This recognition of the inherent divinity mirrors the Om symbol's representation of the universal interconnectedness. Additionally, the act of bringing the palms together during Namaste can also symbolize the harmonization of the A and U sounds in the Om symbol, with the two palms symbolizing these two primal vibrations coming together.

PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) is a vacuum coating process that produces a brilliant decorative and functional finish.

PVD utilizes a titanium nitride that provides an extremely durable coating.

PVD coatings are more resistant to corrosion from sweat and regular wear than conventional gold plating processes.

What's the best way to care for and clean my jewelry piece?

The best way to care for your jewelry is to clean it with a soft microfiber cloth. In addition, swimming or taking a shower with your jewelry are never recommended as this can result in damage to the metal due to the harsh chemicals in chlorine & some soaps.
